As a teacher & spiritual guide, when we receive feedback from healing voices in the universe we are inspired and enthused further to perform more in our work and purpose of life.
We received a message from one of our students living abroad who subscribed to the August Assembly–7 Principles of Reiki online seminar, and what follows is our e-mail conversation.
Healing voices are not only those coming from spiritual masters, but also from those who have a similar resonance within themselves. This feedback is representative of what effect the teachings powered by the energies of Reiki have. As noted in the Atharva-Veda (quoted in our book the Joy of Reiki) –“we touch you with our hands and ten fingers and voice and heal you and your aura…”.
The power of Truth goes beyond physical presence and touch by the grace of the Divine. It lets us know whether we, as a spiritual master, are doing our work diligently and honestly. It confirms that our operations on the cataracts of ignorance for opening the eyes of our students to the light of the Truth has been successful.
This fulfills the promise of the sincerely searching student who prays to the spiritual master since time immemorial:
oṁ ajñāna-timirāndhasya jñānāñjana-śalākayā
cakṣur unmīlitaṁ yena tasmai śrī-gurave namaḥ
“I was born in the darkest ignorance, and my spiritual master opened my eyes with the torch of knowledge. I offer my respectful obeisances unto him.”
